About Kendra
Pronouns: She / Her
Hello, my name is Kendra! I am a student therapist with an educational background in psychology, and I am currently completing my Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto, in the health and mental health stream.
My approach is trauma-informed and anti-oppressive, therefore my goal is to meet you where you are at and create a safe and supportive space where you are able to openly discuss your feelings. My approach is also client-centred and strength-based, therefore I hold the belief that you are the expert in your own life and possess the inner resources necessary to navigate challenges. I look forward to working together!
Note: Kendra is currently a student intern. Her work is supervised by Katherine Hall, MSW RSW

I have experience working in various mental health settings, including a community mental health organization, a mental health crisis centre, and a primary care clinic. In my previous roles, I have worked with youth, young adults, adults, and Indigenous clients experiencing a variety of mental health difficulties including depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and substance use issues. I also have experience with a variety of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical-behaviour therapy (DBT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT). I take an integrative and holistic approach with these techniques to support you in improving your overall wellbeing and resilience.
