The services of our practitioners may be covered by your extended health benefits, though they are not covered by OHIP. We do not file insurance claims but we can provide you with a detailed receipt to seek reimbursement from your insurance plan.
Please confirm the designation of the professional you plan to see and then check with your insurance company to ensure you have coverage for reimbursement. Many plans cover the services of Registered Social Workers, Registered Psychotherapists, Registered Massage Therapists, and Registered Dietitians.
Useful questions to ask your insurance provider are:
Do you cover Registered Social Workers/Registered Psychotherapists/Registered Massage Therapists/Registered Dietitians/Etc?
How much am I covered for?
What is the maximum amount per session am I covered for?
Is the coverage for a calendar year or a fiscal year, and when does it reset?

Each practitioner is set at an individual rate and has their own policies regarding sliding fee options. Please reach out to your therapist directly for clarification or email us at the office with your question and the name of the therapist or service whose costs you would like to know more about. Please note if you've pre-negotiated an adjustment or sliding scale fee, when booking on Janeapp it will look like the service is booked at the full fee, but once the service is fully booked our system will automatically apply the adjustment negotiated to your account. If this isn't reflected on your next receipt please let us know.

We regret to share that currently our office at 1670 Bayview Avenue is not completely accessible. There is an accessible door sensor at the entrance to the building, and an elevator to reach out office, but the bathrooms are located in the stairwell and do not have door sensors nor accessible stalls.
If you would like to access our services but need mobility supports please reach out to us or your practitioner directly to discuss options. Some practitioners offer alternatives like Walk and Talk, or Home Visits.

Our team is made up of professionals from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds.
Clinicians with their MSW RSW are Registered Social Workers with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, clinicians with RP are Registered Psychotherapists with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario [Clinicians who are labelled RP(Q) are Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying) which means they are still doing their clinical hours towards their full designation].
Practitioners identified as Coaches or Counsellors are registered with various Canadian accreditation bodies.
Registered Massage Therapists are registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.
Registered Dietitians are registered with the The College of Dietitians of Ontario.
All of our student interns are clearly labeled and are completing graduate degrees at recognized post-secondary institutions.
