About Soroosh
Pronouns: He/Him
I'm a Registered Psychotherapist working with a wide range of clients who are dealing with anxiety, depression, and grief, including the loss of beloved animal companions. I also specialize in helping people navigate spiritual concerns, questions, and experiences. I invite all those seeking to explore the depths of their being into the beautiful and expansive safe of therapy
I integrate a somatic and mindfulness approach, rooted in self-compassion, to support your healing journey. My aim is to create a compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can open to your inner experience and gain a deeper understanding of yourself.
I have graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Masters in Peace and Conflict Studies and from the University of Toronto with a Masters in Pastoral Studies, Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy (Buddhist Stream). I teach mindfulness to teens and adults, and am currently in training to become a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner.
