A graduate of McMaster University, Christy is a registered Social Worker that has been working in the field since 1995.
As a clinician she specializes in attachment, child and youth development, relationship communication, risk assessment, crisis intervention, adoption, and coping with trauma, grief and loss. Diversity and inclusion are interwoven in all aspects of Christy's practice.
Christy has been providing pre and post partum support for expecting persons and parents for over 25 years. Christy has a passion for supporting human beings from the time of conception to adulthood. She’s here to support you individually, in your intimate relationships, and when navigating family dynamics.
Christy’s clinical supervision services are available to both OCSWSSW and CRPO registered clinicians.

Christy utilizes a trauma informed, strengths based approach to support human beings with finding the answers within themselves to support their mental health and well-being.
As an (ASIST) Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training Master Trainer, Christy is someone you can talk to about suicide thought and behaviour. A Certified Person Brain Master Trainer, Christy understands how to use knowledge of neuroscience and relationships to support resilience. Christy has been trained in trauma informed cognitive behavioural, solution focused, narrative, and dialectical behavioural therapy. Christy knows basic sign language.
In supervision Christy has a passion for encouraging clinicians to come from a position of curiosity, to incorporate cultural awareness into their practice and to always engage in personal and professional reflection. Christy has been providing supervision both in private practice and in agency settings for over 25 years.
